The most sensible statement I've read on this whole issue--I could hardly add to it. Taleb always makes great points, but urging masks because "it can't hurt" is uncharacteristically weak for him.

As for secondary effects of masks, also consider the effect on child (or adult) development of not seeing facial expressions.
